Products Description

The Balanced Weave Belt (also known as Wide Spiral Link Belt) is the most versatile and widely utilized metal conveyor belt in the global market. Its design features alternating left and right-hand spirals, interconnected by crimped or straight cross rods. This symmetrical construction is engineered to neutralize lateral movement, ensuring a true-tracking performance that protects your conveyor frame and minimizes downtime.
As an ISO-certified manufacturer, we specialize in high-tensile balanced weave belts that withstand extreme temperatures, corrosive environments, and heavy mechanical loads.

Engineering Advantages & Performance Benefits

  • Self-Correcting Tracking: The balance of left and right-hand spirals counteracts sideway forces. This ensures the belt runs straight on the pulleys, eliminating the need for expensive tracking sensors.
  • High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: The interlocking weave provides immense longitudinal tension capacity, making it suitable for long-distance conveyors and heavy bulk processing.
  • Optimal Airflow & Drainage: With an open area ranging from 20% to 70%, this belt allows for uniform heat distribution in ovens and rapid fluid drainage in washing lines.
  • Low Maintenance Design: Our plasma-welded edges prevent the rods from snagging or working loose, significantly extending the belt's service life in 24/7 operations.

Critical Industrial Applications

Our Balanced Weave Belts are the preferred choice for the following high-demand sectors:

  • Food Processing: Continuous baking (biscuits, tortillas), cooling of confectionery, frying of snacks, and blanching of vegetables. Our belts meet strict FDA/USDA hygiene standards.
  • Heat Treatment & Sintering: Transporting metal parts through brazing, sintering, and annealing furnaces at temperatures up to 1150°C.
  • Glass & Ceramics: Annealing lehrs for glassware and drying lines for ceramic tiles where thermal stability is paramount.
  • Electronics & Battery Production: Sintering of battery cathode/anode materials and drying of electronic components.

Why Partner With Us?

  • Custom Engineering Support: Our team provides full CAD support to ensure the belt pitch and wire gauge match your existing drive sprockets perfectly.
  • Material Traceability: Every shipment is accompanied by a MTR (Material Test Report) to verify the chemical composition of the stainless steel.
  • Rapid Lead Times: We maintain raw material stock for common specifications, allowing for expedited production during emergency shutdowns.

FAQ

Q1: Should I choose a Crimped Rod or a Straight Rod connection?
A: Crimped Rods are recommended for the majority of applications as they "lock" the spirals in place, preventing shifting and vibration. Straight Rods are used primarily for lightweight conveying where cost-effectiveness is the priority.

Q2: How do I select the right material for high-temperature applications?
A: For temperatures up to 800°C, SS304/316 is sufficient. For 800°C–1000°C, we recommend SS314 for its superior oxidation resistance. For environments exceeding 1000°C, SS310S or Inconel alloys should be specified to prevent structural fatigue.

Q3: Can these belts be driven by sprockets?
A: Standard balanced weave belts are friction-driven by drums. However, for precise synchronization or heavy inclines, we can integrate Chain Edges to allow for a positive sprocket drive.

Q4: How do you ensure the quality of the weld points?
A: We utilize automated welding technology. Every joint is inspected for smoothness and penetration depth to ensure no "burrs" exist that could damage products or injure workers.
